Guansheng Du was born on 8th August, 1984 in Hangzhou, Zhejiang, China. In the year of 2003, he began his undergraduate study in the Chemistry Department at Zhejiang University (Hangzhou, China). In the 2nd year of his undergraduate time, he began to study in Prof. Qun Fang’s group in the Institute of Micro-analytical Systems as a training student.
After finishing his studies in Zhejiang University, he began his PhD research in the BrainBridge Program, which is a collaboration program between Philips Research, Zhejiang University, and Eindhoven University of Technology. From October 2007 to September 2009, his PhD research was carried out at Philips Research and Eindhoven University of Technology, guided by Prof. Jaap den Toonder. After that, he continued his PhD work at Zhejiang University, guided by Prof. Qun Fang. His PhD studies were financially supported by the BrainBridge program and the Natural Science Foundation of China, Major National Science and Technology Programs from China.
From June 2013 to March 2015, Guansheng Du was postdoc at École Supérieure de Physique et de Chimie Industrielles, France. Guansheng Du is now Scientist at Biomillenia, Paris, France.
